Julianne comes to us today with very long curly black hair. We do a little role playing for her haircut. The idea is that she and her friend are talking and she is upset that salons charge double what barbers charge. She is determined to go to a barbershop for her next cut. Her friends warns there may be consequences to this. She and her friend go to the barber where an argument ensues. The barber insists that he only cuts men's hair. She demands a haircut at the price listed. The barber decides he will give her a proper men's haircut. The barber cuts off all of the long hair dry with scissors. She takes her seat again and this time it's no. 1 straight down the middle. Soon all of her hair is buzzed to 1/8”. Then a straight razor shaves the back and sides very high. Julianne demanded a haircut at the barber and she got just what she asked for. In two weeks her friend will take the chair.
