Nervous Arlene starts today with long wavy hair. She is nervous because today she is getting an army cut. With two fresh army cuts on the couch behind her, she has a good idea what her her hair will soon look like. The top hair is parted away. Then it's zero clippers straight up the left side as long hair drops onto her shoulders. This continues on the right side and up the back until the entire undercut section is buzzed to the skin. The top section is released and a the length is held high over head. Clippers buzz off a major section of the length. With the no. 2 guard the clippers buzz straight down the middle, reducing the remaining top hair to 1/4”. A little blending goes on between the top and lower sections. Shaving cream is applied to the lower sections and a straight razor shaves that section smooth. Arlene is still smiling as she sees her new army cut. What a lovely transformation.
