Marycris starts with thick hair a few inches past her shoulders. She has selected our short buzz cut as her new style. We are at the barbershop today so she gets a black cape from the male barber. He puts on the no. 2 guard and starts right at the forehead. The entire top is buzzed to 1/4”. He goes lower and lower with the clippers until only a small section of the nape has long hair. A shorter guard buzzes the sides and back super tight. The tails are buzzed too and the barber executes a nice fade. Clippers and then a straight razor clean up the hairline. Even the front hairline is squared off. Marycris looks like a new woman with her extreme faded buzz cut.
