Nilda is the sixth and last of this series of army girls. Like the five others before her, she goes through inprocessing. Her long black hair with longer bangs fall first. The no. 2 clippers start right on top and push straight back. Top, sides and back are all buzzed to 1/4”. Then the instructor ask faded or shaved? She chooses shaved and the zero clippers buzz the bottom half to the skin. Shaving cream is added and the bottom half is shaved smooth. With the haircut done, Nilda changes into the day uniform of white T and jeans. She sits in front of the mirror to remove her makeup and earrings. Now Nilda looks ready for basic training.
