Arlene starts with long black hair that has been layered a bit. Today she is going for a short buzz cut. The barber starts with scissors on dry hair. The long locks are cut short all over giving Arlene a rough pixie cut. Then it's time for the clippers. The no. 2 clippers start on top just past the bangs. Everythin but the bangs asre buzzed to 1/4". The no. 1 blades take the sides and back even shorter. The bangs are snipped short. A straight razor cleans around the hairline including squaring off the sideburns and the nape. Arlene is all smiles as she sees her new buzz cut for the first time.
