Ivy already has shorter hair only to collar length. She originally only wanted a short haircut but at the last minute requested we shave her head. Our barber starts with clippers and buzzes off all of the length. The sides and back are buzzed to zero while the top back is buzzed short giving a short lived micro flattop. Next it's all zeros as the is shaved super short. Shaving cream is added and a straight razor shaves off any remaining stubble. Ivy looks great with her newly shaved head.
