Marvell start with an amazing head of hair. Very long straight and black. Today she will buzz off all of that long hair. The staylist gathers the hair into a ponytail at the nape and snips it off with scissors. The no. 3 clipper start at the nape. Soon all but the bangs are buzzed to 3/8". The sides and back are then buzzed closer. The bangs are still quite long so scissors crop them nice and short. Clippers go back over the sides and back blending the top section to the shorter sections below. A razor blade cleans around the hairline. Marvell looks a bit shocked as she looks at her new buzz cut for the first time.
