Alma starts with very long hair. Today she will go very short. We start with a high ponytail. The barber buzzes off the ponytail with clippers. With the no. 4 guard attached, the barber starts on top. Soon all but the bangs are buzzed to 1/2". A shorter guard is used to take the back and sides shorter. Alma chose this cut at the bangs were longer than our buzz cuts. The barber cuts her bangs with scissors. The entire cut is blended with scissors too. A straight razor cleans around the hairline. Alma is all smiles as she sees her new cut.
