Michelle starts with very long thick curly hair. Today she wants to give up her curls in favor of a much shorter cut. We start with twin ponytails at high up the back of her head. The barber buzzes each ponytail right off. The no. 2 clippers start right on top. They buzz all over the head reducing the length to 1/4". Then the no. 1 clippers buzz the sides and back shorter still. Then the bare clippers fade around the edges. The bangs are snipped short with scissors. A straight razor cleans around the hairline. Michelle looks like a new woman in her new short buzz cut.
