Joan starts today with very long wavy black hair. Today she is ready for a major change, she wants a short buzz cut. We gather her hair into a high ponytail. The barber buzzes off the ponytail with clippers. Next the no. 2 clippers start right on top. They push back leaving the top buzzed to 1/4". The clippers buzz all but the bangs to this short length. The no. 1 clippers buzz the sides and back even closer. Unguarded clippers fade the bottom to zero. The bangs are still too long so scissors on wet hair fall next. The bangs are cropped very short and scissors blend the entire cut together. A straight razor cleans around the hairline. Joan looks lovely in her new short buzz cut.
