Nikki Ann starts with thick black hair past her shoulders. She wants to try a short cut. The stylist gathers the long hair in one hand and snips off all of the long hair with the other. Clippers then buzz a few inches of the nape. The sides are then buzzed around each ear. Clippers buzz off any long hair that remains. Scissors take over on top cutting the length down. Clippers blend the longer top to the buzzed section below. A razor blade cleans the hairline, squaring off the sideburns. A quick blow dry and Nikki Ann is all finished. She is really happy with her new short cut.
