Mary Ann starts with thick black hair past her shoulders. Today she is ready to shave her head. She takes her seat and the barber grabs the clippers, no guard. It's straight down the middle as a white stripe of skin is left in the clippers wake. Soon all of her long hair is gone with only the smallest of stubble left. Shaving cream is added. A straight razor shaves Mary Ann completely bald. She has been smiling throughout her haircut and smiles again as she sees her new bald look in the mirror.
