Rowena starts with long straight black hair and a pretty smile. Let's see if she's still smiling after we give her a short buzz cut. We start with a high ponytail at the back. The barber snips off the ponytail with scissors. Then the no. 2 clippers go to work. Starting just behind the bangs they buzz away. Soon all but the bangs are reduced to 1/4". We switch to the no. 1 guard and take the sides and back super close. The bottom is faded to zero. The bangs are cropped short with scissors. The hairline is cleaned up with a straight razor. Rowena has smiled throughout her haircut. She smiles again as she sees her new buzz cut in the mirror.
