Shirley starts with very long straight black hair. Today she is ready to go very short. The barber starts by buzzing off her long ponytail. Clippers then buzz a path above each ear and up the nape. A smaller guard is used to taper the edges. Scissors take a lot of the length off on top. Clippers taper the longer top sections to the buzzed sections below. Scissors go over the top again cropping it all quite short. Shirley is all smiles as she sees her new short haircut for the first time.
